Manila Night Life
Filipinos have a natural knack for being the life of the party, and Manila night life is the perfect example of how this holds true.
Very much like their Spanish counterparts, Filipinos love to sing and dance and have a great sense of humour. This, combined with an array of fun bars and clubs on offer, can guarantee Manila night life will have you experiencing the time of your life.
As in many Asian countries, Karaoke is seen as a national sport and highly regarded by locals, so stage fright really doesn’t fit into the Manila night life scene.
But if Karaoke’s not your cup of tea, Manila night life also offers jazz clubs, upscale wine bars, dance clubs and American-style bars.
Malate is one of Manila’s most famous night life districts. Makati and Global City also have night life strips in the Greenbelt and Bonifacio High Street malls respectively.
In Quezon City, which makes up part of Metro Manila, Morato Avenue is dotted with bars, restaurants and comedy clubs. Eastwood City in Quezon City is another hangout favoured by locals.
Manila night life caters for all (legal) ages and tastes. So, if you’re on holiday in the city, spare some energy for when the sun goes down, because that’s when the fun really starts!
